Category Archives: 28TH Amendment
Fact is, there ISN’T a 28th Amendment – but over the last several years, there has been a lot of attention focused on ADDING A NEW CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT, for the purpose of limiting Congress’ ability to “give itself” MANY BENEFITS and enticements to ensure their own HUGE WEALTH (compared to their own constituents).
Emails regarding this have been flying around for YEARS. Most of these seem to indicate that by forwarding the email, that a change could occur. Research has led to the fact that the email will not, in itself, do any good. But there IS a solution – a way to make it happen! But it will take a lot of work. First, please get familiar with the “RULES” regarding getting this going:
We’ll assume that this gives you a fair understanding of the process, and that the document is accurate in its depiction of the States that are presently ‘On the Fence’ regarding their level of commitment when the ‘rubber meets the road’.
What this means is that THE CITIZENS of at least two of the following states Join in on this effort. This means that… THE RESPONSIBILITY GOES BACK TO THE PEOPLE to get their State to get on the List to Form a Constitutional Convention.
Until this happens, nothing will happen – So, if you live in one of the States listed below… IT’S UP TO YOU!
- District of Columbia
- New Jersey
- New York
- West Virginia
Some of these States are highly unlikely to join in – California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Washington, and West Virginia come to mind quickly, for various reasons.
This leaves Seven “fairly good” possibilities. So, If you live in any of the following states, YOU COULD MAKE IT HAPPEN! Here’s the list, along with my opinion of how likely that State would be to “Join the Fight”…
Illinois – not famous for being a super Fed-friendly State
- Kentucky – Still ‘coal country’ and Union oriented
- Maine – Just plain stubborn
- Massachusetts – Blue state…
- Michigan – No clue – could be a good choice
- Montana – Don’t know why they are not already on the list – GO!
- Vermont – Strange political climate, but a possibility
- Wisconsin – Another ‘no clue’ state, give it a go
Now comes the HARD PART. How to get a state to jump in to the fracus…
What I CAN tell you is that it must be done at a Grassroots effort that deals with the individual state legislators. Likely, it will need to start at the County level within each state, then to the State Legislators, including the Governor of the State in question. But the details are unclear at this point – and really beyond the scope of this little explanation. Besides – you need to do some of YOUR OWN WORK on this, if you really want it to happen. I wish you a great deal of energy, effort and luck.
GOD BLESS AMERICA
